  • Santander reinforces its global dominance in consumption with its new digital bank

As a launch campaign, customers who direct their payroll to the Santander One account will get 15,000 Avios, enough for a roundtrip flight to the Canary Islands or Europe.

The points grow as the payroll, receipts, insurance are contracted or card payments are made.

Santander One Iberia Plus has three levels

Basic

,

Premium

and

Elite

.

The latter includes the advantages of an Iberia Plus Silver card, such as extra baggage, priority check-in and boarding, or an extra 25% on Avios earned for flying.

At the

basic

level

, customers will receive 1,000 welcome Avios and a 5% discount on Iberia flights.

At the

Premium

level they

will receive 9,000 welcome Avios -equivalent to a roundtrip flight within the Peninsula-, 10% discount and obtain an extra 25% of Avios on the purchase of Iberia flights.

At the

Elite

level, they

will receive 15,000 welcome Avios, a 10% discount on the purchase of Iberia flights and, through Iberia Cards, all the advantages of the Iberia Plus silver level.

The alliance with Banco Santander reinforces Iberia's strategy of betting on loyalty as a way to increase and stabilize its income, improving the value proposition of the Iberia Plus program and offering its customers more options to accumulate Avios, which they can then exchange for flights and other services of the more than 90 'partners' of the Iberia Plus program.
