(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 05 - Kindergartens, elementary and middle schools in presence throughout Italy, with the obligation of wearing a mask from tomorrow, Friday, except for those under 6 years old.

In the 'red areas', however - Lombardy, Piedmont, Calabria, Valle d'Aosta - face-to-face lessons only up to sixth grade.

The school changes again according to the new dpcm in force since November 6 and which provides for 100% distance learning for all high schools: the Minister of Education Lucia Azzolina, who has been fighting for weeks to keep the school in attendance, has mediated until the end, cashing in a good result.

"The school must be a garrison, so among those measures the fact of sending students to Dad is a fact that weighs heavily on the government - the premier, Giuseppe Conte said tonight - and as soon as the curve returns under control one of the first measures will be give back teaching in the presence to as many students as possible ".

Instead, the tests of the contested competition for precarious professors who have taught in school for at least three years are suspended from today: yesterday the tests were held regularly but with the application of the dpcm the candidates who had to present themselves will receive specific communications.

To date, about 70% have already carried out the tests and the Ministry assures that it will start the correction of the writings but there are already those who hypothesize possible appeals and infinite lengthening of the closing times of the competition.

In the meantime, schools will remain closed in the Regions where for days the governors have sent all students to distance learning: Campania, Puglia and, for middle and high schools, even Umbria.

In the latter, distance learning even in secondary schools is confirmed at least until November 14, by order of the President of the Region.

In Campania the Region - it was leaked in the evening - will issue an ordinance to confirm the closure of all schools in attendance even if it has been included in the list of "yellow" areas which provides for face-to-face teaching except for secondary schools;

also in Puglia (orange) the regional ordinance remains in force with which for about a week face-to-face lessons have been suspended in schools of all levels, with the exception of the nursery school.

    The councilor for health Pier Luigi Lopalco, specified that if the Government deems it absolutely necessary to reopen the teaching in the presence, it may request the revocation of the order of the president of the Puglia Region who will evaluate it in agreement with the Minister of Health.

Even in the red areas, however, everyone has the possibility of carrying out activities in presence if the use of laboratories is necessary or to guarantee the scholastic inclusion of pupils with disabilities.

For all the meetings of the collegial bodies can only be held remotely, as educational trips are suspended.

Meanwhile, students are protesting in various parts of Italy against distance learning: in Rome, pupils from around thirty schools gathered with their cell phones, tablets and PCs to teach at a distance under the Ministry of Education.

In Turin, a group of high school students animated the "protest of the desks", with the desks in the street, in front of the door of their school.
