Unlike its ruling on Tuesday, the Supreme Court of Justice postponed its ruling on the situation of Judge Germán Castelli, displaced by the vote of Kirchnerism in Congress.

With the majority of four of its five judges, the highest court agreed to consider the protection of the judge to remain in office as a member of the Oral Federal Court 7 (TOF 7) that must judge Cristina Kirchner in the case of the Cuadernos de las Bribes, but did not give an answer to that claim.

Germán Castelli had reached the Federal Oral Court 7 (TOF 7) in 2018 for a 2018 transfer decided during the government of Mauricio Macri.

This movement, since its ownership is located in a San Martín court, had the endorsement of the Supreme Court of Justice, but was later questioned by Kirchnerism in the Council of the Magistracy with the argument that now in a turn it validated the Court: that his change did not have the agreement of the Senate.

Hours before the Court's ruling was known, Castelli had sent a note to the highest court to reconsider his case and confirm it in the TOF 7 permanently, unlike what he decided on Tuesday on the situation of the chambermaids Leopoldo Bruglia and Pablo Bertuzzi.
