At the end of a strategic committee of the automotive sector which was held this Friday, November 6 in the morning between ministers and professionals of the sector including the bosses of the Renault and PSA groups as well as major equipment manufacturers, the government has announced the extension of a series of vehicle purchase assistance.
The premium for the purchase of hybrid or electric vehicles is extended until June 30, 2021 at its current level.
This premium is a maximum of 7,000 euros, and was initially supposed to drop by 1,000 euros in January.
The conversion premium also remains unchanged.
It is maintained at 3000 euros for the purchase of a new thermal vehicle and at 5000 euros for an electric or plug-in hybrid.
On the other hand, diesel hybrids will be excluded from it on January 1, said the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
Concessions remain closed
Another point discussed during this meeting: the opening of concessions.
