As announced by the president, Alberto Fernández, the metropolitan area went from preventive and mandatory social isolation (ASPO) to preventive and mandatory social distancing (DISPO).
Activities and circulation are made more flexible.
However, public transportation will remain only for
essential workers
.
“Moving away is not far from what it is today: we began to open activities, that generated greater contact.
What it authorizes is that
it can be circulated without the authorization that is required today
.
Passenger transport will continue to serve those who perform essential activities.
It is in transport services where
contagion situations are most easily generated,
”Fernández remarked.
Does this mean that it will no longer be necessary to process the
circulation certificate
to move through Capital and GBA?
As explained to
Clarín
from the Ministry of Innovation, the area in charge of managing this procedure, the details will be specified in the administrative decision that gives legal framework to this stage, but in principle
it will no longer be necessary to manage a permit to move in the vehicle itself
.
On the other hand, with public transport there will be no changes.
Thus, anyone could move in their car, motorcycle or bicycle, regardless of the reason that motivates that movement.
The workers considered essential
are the only ones who will be able to continue using buses, trains and subways
.
And if someone needs to travel by public transport, for example to carry out a procedure or attend a medical appointment, they have to continue managing the permit as before.
With the move to the new DISPO stage, new activities were enabled in the metropolitan area.
In the GBA, for example, consumption was allowed inside bars and restaurants and activity in closed gyms.
These flexibilities will take effect as of next week.
