Writer Salih Al-Hajj won the first prize in the novelistic creativity competition announced by Tottol Printing, Publishing and Distribution for his novel The Flicker.
And she won second place in the competition, which bore the name of the late writers Zuhdi Khalil and Ali Al-Abdullah, Dr. Sibet Suleiman for her novel "Women Spinning the Moon". The competition's jury also noted my novel "On Afia and A'n .. Flower Nursery" and "Walls of Solitude" by novelists Ayman Al-Hassan and Khalil Al-Ajil.
The winning works will be printed with fifty free copies for the winners in addition to an honorary shield.
Totol announced the competition last July, stipulating that the novel's words not exceed 35,000 words, allowing the participating writers to choose the topic they deem appropriate.
