A 17-year-old teenager was indicted in Montbéliard (Doubs) for "
provoking an act of terrorism
" after posting on a social network a message announcing an attack at the Lyon Part-Dieu station, indicates on Saturday, November 7. parquet.
The teenager, until then "
unknown
" to justice, was arrested on Wednesday and indicted on Friday, according to the same source.
He was placed under judicial supervision.
He had sent in early January on Snapchat a message in which he threatened to "
open fire on the crowd with a weapon of war
" in the Lyon train station.
A large police force was then deployed around Part-Dieu, before the threat turned out to be false.
According to France Bleu Belfort-Montbéliard, the young person, who would have also seen a video of beheading, denied during his police custody having wanted to commit an attack.
There was "
nothing disturbing in his speech
", which seems rather "
smooth
" and "
compatible with the Republic
", according to the prosecution.
"
We have a profile that is not at all compatible with this kind of talk
" and further investigations will therefore take place to determine the reasons that may have pushed him to put this message online, we added.
The teenager would also have viewed "out of
curiosity
" a video of beheading and "
the computer equipment seized at his home must in particular be the subject of a more in-depth examination
", according to France Bleu Belfort-Montbéliard.
