The chief spokesman for the Iranian armed forces, Brigadier General Abul Fadl Shikaraji, confirmed that Iran will not allow the presence of takfiri terrorists in the conflict zone in Nagorny Karabakh nor will it allow the establishment of bases for the Israeli entity near its borders.
In an interview with Mizan Agency, Shkaraji said, “Iran has asked the two parties to the conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh region not to pave the way for the takfiris to enter this region because that is something that cannot be tolerated by us at all, and the presence of espionage bases belonging to the Israeli entity is another important point, and we will not allow it.” Never establish such bases near our borders and the disputed area.
Shkaraji stressed that if such a matter happened, its repercussions would be on the shoulders of the state that allows the presence of takfiris, mercenaries and the bases of the Israeli entity, and Iran will confront these two repulsive phenomena firmly.
He pointed out that the two countries, parties to the dispute over Karabakh, Armenia and Azerbaijan, are our neighbors, and we respect both of them, but the two countries must adhere to complete accuracy because any exposure to Iranian lands will be met with a firm response.
