Everything at the beginning again?

As good as, because after the construction of the new Sindelsdorf building yard with club house had still been approved by the last local council, the new committee lifted resolutions already passed in its most recent meeting.

Sindelsdorf

- The plans to build a municipal building yard including a club house on the premises of the local sports club have been going on for over eight years.

In August of last year, all previous plans for a building in solid brick construction were thrown overboard due to the high estimated costs of around 2.2 million euros for the pure building.

Instead, the local council unanimously decided to build a prefabricated hall.

But the project was further delayed due to the architect's illness.

Shortly before the end of the legislative period in March, the then local council under the former mayor Josef Buchner (UWS) quickly awarded the contract for the new building - a decision that had already been criticized by many local councils as a rushed quick action (we reported) .

Among other things, because only an offer from a prefabricated hall builder had been received.

The commissioned architect had checked this offer, Buchner assured at the time.

Advertisement was poor

In its most recent meeting, the new Sindelsdorf council decided by a majority to cancel the public tender from February, as well as the decision to award the contract to the prefabricated hall builder.

As Mayor Andreas Obermaier (CSU) explained, the tender was "poor" and therefore not permissible.

Among other things, because the commissioned architect had made a plan for the new building, but neither the municipality nor the district administration had ever seen a finished building plan.

The plan was never approved.

And that's why there is no basis for the tender, said Obermaier.

The municipality was informed of this by the registration office of the government of Upper Bavaria (VOB office) in Munich.

But that's not all: the architect forwarded his plan directly to the contractor, who then wrote it down by hand in the tender documents, explained Obermaier.

He put the financial damage for his community at around 50,000 euros.

Now that the municipal council has taken a big step back by withdrawing the award decision, the original plans should be reconsidered.

"The building yard should get smaller," said Obermaier.

That is the tenor of the new council.

Construction will start in autumn 2021 at the earliest

Now the clubs should also have rooms on the ground floor and not - as originally planned - only on the upper floor.

The planning phase should start at the beginning of next year.

The Sindeldorfer town hall boss estimates that construction will start in autumn 2021 at the earliest.

The new building yard should also be cheaper.

Instead of the originally calculated 1.6 million euros - which, according to Mayor Obermaier, could easily have become 2.5 million - the project should now cost no more than 1.5 million euros.

The reading café in the Penzberg parish center Christkönig is actually still quite young - the team recently celebrated the five-year anniversary of the café, which is a mixture of library and meeting place.

The roots go back over 70 years, to a time when the Christkönig parish center did not yet exist.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the new footpath and cycle path between Antdorf and Iffeldorf should have already taken place.

Actually, because a small animal threatens to delay the project at least massively.

A fate that threatens the planned bike path along the B 472 federal road from Sindelsdorf towards Bichl.

The third course of the nursing school in Schongau was on a graduation trip in Berlin at the beginning of October.

Was that what triggered the wave of corona infections at the hospital?
