The idea is to simplify and clarify the origin of the products.

This is sometimes a headache for certain products.

Concretely, the meats, fruits and vegetables of French origin, will be spotted in the shelves, but also on the Internet sites of the supermarkets and the advertisements “

thanks to a banner common to all the signs

”, explains the Minister of Agriculture.

On this logo, we can read:

"Closer to you and your tastes"

.

Behind this slogan, the minister affirms that there will be a requirement for traceability.

Private labels will no longer use the words 'transformed in France' or 'produced in France' if the ingredients do not come from our territory,

” he assures us.
