Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel expressed his belief in the possibility of establishing constructive bilateral relations with the United States that respect the difference of the other, after Joe Biden's victory in the US presidential elections.
The Russian agency Sputnik quoted Kanell as saying in a tweet on his Twitter page that the American people chose a new direction in the US elections, which resulted in the victory of Democratic candidate Joe Biden.
