The video reads: "82 years since Kristallnacht, and the dark shadows of the past have not yet disappeared from our streets. We will stand up to hatred, we will stand up to anti-Semitism, we will stand together, in Vienna, Jerusalem and Berlin. Never again means never again. Let there be light. ".
Kristallnacht is the nickname for the riots that took place against Jews in the Third Reich states of Germany and Austria between the ninth and tenth of November 1938. During the pogrom, almost all synagogues in Germany were destroyed, Jewish cemeteries and businesses were destroyed and nearly a hundred were murdered.
