The second Sunday in November is Hong Kong Peace Memorial Day. A memorial event will be held at the Peace Memorial in Central. Participants will wear poppies in memory of the fallen soldiers.

The Peace Memorial Day ceremony was held today (8th) at the Central Peace Monument. The ceremony lasts about 20 minutes. The organizer, Hong Kong Veterans Federation, will salute and observe two minutes of silence.
In relation to the epidemic, the ceremony was simplified, but only 50 people were allowed in the restricted area, and marching squads and bands were cancelled.
