A Ferrari driver had an accident on the A8 on Saturday.

- The man from the Munich district wanted to leave the A8 at the Taufkirchen-Ost junction with his Ferrari on Saturday afternoon around 4.30 p.m.
There, according to the police, he lost
control of his vehicle
in a
right turn for
an unexplained cause
.
First he schanzte over an embankment,
flipped over
this and ended after about 100 meters next to the roadway on the roof of the vehicle.

The fire brigades from Unterhaching and Taufkirchen were alerted and deployed 54 emergency services because it was initially said that the driver was trapped.
On site, however, it turned out that the driver could already be freed from the smoking car by first aiders.
He then received first aid from the emergency services and was taken to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries.

The driver was injured moderately.
The police estimate the damage to the car at around 150,000 euros.
