The number of Coronavirus infections recorded in Syria increased during the first week of November compared to the same period last month, amid fears of a new peak in the spread of the virus to coincide with the winter season.

According to the Ministry of Health data, the total number of infections recorded in Syria since the start of the virus spread until the seventh of this month reached 6147 infections, of which 2302 cases were cured and 313 cases died, while 3532 remained active.

The number of registered infections since the beginning of the spread of the virus until the 7th of last month was 4504, of which 1198 cases were cured and 212 died.

During the first week of this month, 419 injuries were recorded, and the number of recoveries reached 281, and the number of deaths reached 21, 115 more than the total number of injuries recorded during the first week of last month, when the number of registered cases was 304.

The Ministry of Health clarified in its data the distribution of injuries and deaths and the number of recovery cases in each governorate since the beginning of the spread of the virus, as the number of cases registered in Damascus reached 1643, of which 961 are active cases, while 564 have recovered and 118 died.

In Aleppo, the number of registered cases reached 1269, 940 remained active, 290 cases were cured, and 39 injured people died, and in Homs, 885 cases were recorded, of which 557 were active, 253 cases were cured, and 75 injured died.

In the countryside of Damascus, the number of registered cases reached 697, of which 364 were active cases, 318 were cured and 15 died, while in Lattakia 529 cases were recorded, including 269 active cases, 243 cases were cured, and 17 died.

In Tartous, 298 cases were recorded, including 149 active cases, 137 cases were cured, and 12 died, and in Hama, 242 cases were recorded, including 47 active cases, 180 cases were cured, and 15 cases died.

In Daraa, 226 cases were recorded, including 112 active cases, 112 cases were cured, and two died, while in As-Suwayda there were 204 cases, including 96 active cases, 98 cases were cured, and 10 cases died, and in Quneitra, 90 cases were recorded, including one active case, 85 cases were cured, and 4 died.

In Hasaka, 30 cases were recorded, including 26 active cases, 7 cases recovered and 2 died, while Deir Ezzor recorded 22 cases, including 10 active cases, 8 cases were cured and 2 cases died, and in Raqqa 7 cases were recorded and all recovered.

According to these data, Damascus recorded the highest percentage of injuries, which reached 1643 cases, followed by Aleppo, 1269 cases, then Homs, 885 cases, and Damascus is the highest in terms of the number of recovery cases, 564, followed by Damascus countryside 318, then Aleppo, 290 cases, then Homs, 253 cases, and Damascus is the highest in the number of cases. Corona deaths 118 cases, followed by Homs, 75 cases, and Aleppo, 39 deaths.

The rate of recovery of cases infected with Corona out of the total injuries recorded in Damascus was 34%, while the death rate reached 7%. The rate of recovery of cases infected with Corona out of the total injuries recorded in Aleppo is about 23%, while the death rate is more than 3%.

In Homs, the cure rate of the total infected cases reached about 29 percent, while the death rate was 6 percent. In Damascus countryside, the cure rate reached more than 45 percent, and deaths more than 2 percent. In Lattakia, the cure rate reached more than 45 percent, and deaths more than 3 percent. Tartous, the cure rate is more than 45% and the death rate is more than 4%.

In Hama, the cure rate was more than 74 percent, the death rate was 6 percent, in Daraa, the cure rate was more than 49 percent, the death rate about 1 percent, and in Sweida, the cure rate was 48 percent, and the death rate about 5 percent, and in Quneitra, the cure rate was 94 percent, and the death rate was about 4 percent, and in Hasaka The cure rate is 23 percent and the death rate is about 7 percent, and in Deir Ezzor the cure rate is 36 percent and the death rate is 9 percent, and in Raqqa the cure rate is 100 percent and there are no deaths.

As for the cure rate of the total Corona injuries recorded in Syria, it reached 37%, and the death rate was approximately 5%.
