Dr. Al-Abbas explained that it is the growing herd of calves that will feed the cow during the coming years after the current herd reaches the age of coordination, as there is a sale contract for fattening calves between the Ministries of Agriculture, Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, to supply the latter through the Syrian trade halls with calf meat in the agreed quantity, adding that the General Organization The local market may supply calves from one day to one month old within a specified price, while fattening the calves above this age is started to be sold to the Syrian Trade Corporation, according to the principle of positive intervention in the market.
