He had met the young woman on the Internet, and they had been a couple since February 2018.

"Sabrina wanted me to be more manly and appear different.
But that didn't suit me, ”says the office clerk.

separation in October 2019

“I wanted to fight for our love,” claims K. But in fact, on December 9, 2019, he completely freaked out when Sabrina was standing in front of his one-room apartment on Schlösserstaße at 1:45 p.m.
According to the indictment, Pascal K. stabbed her in the hall with a
kitchen knife
, hit her in the face with his fists and finally slaughtered her in the living room with 13 stitches.
The young woman bled to death.

“Sabrina, I'm worried.
I just want to know that everything is okay, ”wrote the victim's mother at 3:35 pm.
She had tried to call several times.
But Pascal K. suppressed the calls and replied by SMS with the cell phone of his dead ex-girlfriend “Can't speak right now.” He had long since stowed the body in his storage room.
And confided in a buddy with the words:
"I killed my ex-girlfriend."

At the regional court, his lawyer Birgit Schwerdt declared yesterday: "My client takes full responsibility for the killing of Sabrina S." From today's point of view, it is "inexplicable to him how he is capable of such an act."

“I often felt pressure and looked for an outlet.” He found it difficult to talk about problems and instead made lists that he and Sabrina “worked through”, as he says, over the weekend.
All too often she was dissatisfied with him.
“I think she wanted to shape me in her image,” says K., who became addicted to gambling.
He accumulated a debt of 27,000 euros.
Pascal K. could not accept that Sabrina S. no longer wanted contact, says public prosecutor Nina Prantl.

But K. rejects the motives for the murder: there was an argument.
Sabrina S. slapped him, hit her and only then picked up the knife.
K. asked the relatives to forgive the unforgivable.
"I'll have to bear the guilt of a life," he said through tears.
