The Special Representative of the Russian President for Middle East and African Affairs, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, discussed with the Syrian ambassador to Moscow, Dr. Riyad Haddad, the situation in and around Syria in light of the need for concerted international efforts to help rebuild the economic and social infrastructure in the Syrian Arab Republic, as well as the return of Syrian refugees to Their home.
The Russian Foreign Ministry stated on its website that Bogdanov confirmed during his meeting with Haddad yesterday evening Moscow's firm support for the sovereignty, integrity and territorial integrity of Syria and the readiness to continue supporting the Syrian people in combating international terrorism.
