As soon as he took office in the Vatican, in the distant 2013, some Argentine consulting firms began to include Pope Francis in their image studies.

They mixed him with the main politicians, almost as a way of exposing the discrediting of the local leadership.

It was the time when Argentine candidates lobbied for a photo with Jorge Bergoglio in Rome, almost a political blessing.

But

not

even the highest representative of God on earth

was saved from the crack

: a new national survey repeated that statistical exercise and

the Pope was fourth

.

The survey that reveals these data is from

Acierto

, a consulting firm created in 2007 that works in Argentina and abroad.

Every month, it monitors public opinion that it distributes among different clients and stakeholders.

One of them, in the country, is the governor of San Juan, the Peronist Sergio Uñac.

Clarín

advanced the weekend of his last work, with numbers on the two pairs that mark the pulse of polarization: Alberto Fernández-Cristina Kirchner and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta-Mauricio Macri.

The image of the tense meeting in February 2016 between the Pope and Mauricio Macri.

The survey was done between October 30 and November 2.

It included

1,225 cases

and the results were presented with a margin of error of +/- 2.8%.

The ranking of the images was ordered

according to the positive weighting

of the 24 referents evaluated.

First

, as it has been appearing in almost all polls,

Larreta appears

.

Not only is it by far the one with the most favorable image (66.1%), but it also combines it with a relatively low rejection (27% negative).

This leaves it with a positive spread of almost 40 points.

Second

in the table is María Eugenia Vidal, with + 52.7% and - 42.2%: balance in favor of 10.5 points.

The

third privileged person

to surpass the Pope is

Alberto Fernández

.

Even with the fall that has been showing since April, he is still the leader of the ruling party with the best image and in this study he ends up with a positive differential: + 50% and -49.2%.

Francisco

finally appears below the President

, with

+ 47.9%

and

-44.6%

.

If you were a politician, you wouldn't have to worry.

But his numbers seem to feel the impact of polarization: his approach to Cristina since she took office, his coldness in his relationship with Macri and his decision not to come to Argentina as Supreme Pontiff made him the

target of much criticism

, especially from his followers. of the PRO.

There are also those who question his friendship with Juan Grabois.

As for the numbers themselves, the negative image of the Pope is striking -especially-: if the ranking were governed by this parameter, only nine of the other 23 measured references would be worse off than him: Hugo Moyano (-72.1% ), Macri (- 62.5), Cristina (- 60.7%), Máximo Kirchner (- 60.5%), Sergio Berni (- 60.5%), Sergio Massa (- 57.7%), Roberto Baradel (- 57.2%), Patricia Bullrich (- 49.5%) and Alberto F. (- 49.2%).

The Pope, in one of his meetings with Cristina, in September 2014. Andrés Larroque gave him a T-shirt from La Cámpora.

According to the ordering by positive image, under Francisco are:

5) Martín Lousteau 47.2%.

6) Patricia Bullrich 46.1%.

7) Juna Schiaretti 45.1%.

8) Ricardo Alfonsín 41.1%.

9) Axel Kicillof 40.3%.

10) Roberto Lavagna 39.8%.

11) Miguel Pichetto 39.8%.

12) Javier Milei 38.3%.

13) Cristina Kirchner 38.2%.

14) Sergio Massa 37.6%.

15) Mauricio Macri 36.7%.

16) Gerardo Morales 36.7%.

17) Alfredo Cornejo 36.4%.

18) José Luis Espert 30%.

19) Sergio Berni 29.7%.

20) Juan José Gómez Centurión 29.1%.

21) Juan Manuel Urtubey 28.9%.

22) Maximum Kirchner 27.8%.

23) Roberto Baradel 23.8%.
