Munich

- As the survey institute

GMS has determined

 on behalf of

Sat.1 Bayern

, more and more Bavarian

citizens

doubt

the effectiveness of the

currently valid

protective measures

prescribed

by the

government in

view of the increasing number of

In addition, almost half of those surveyed (47 percent) do not believe that the

partial lockdown

ordered

by the end of

November will be

sufficient to get the situation under control again.

Therefore, a majority of three quarters of the people questioned would

accept

stricter controls in

order to be able to guarantee the implementation of the measures.

The survey also revealed in other respects how

divided

the mood among the population is with regard to the

second wave of the corona pandemic

.

On the one hand, a large majority doubts the

effectiveness of

the protective measures, but the approval of the

state government's

line is almost as high

: 72 percent are

fundamentally in agreement

with its

crisis management

and measures by

Prime Minister Söder

and his cabinet.

Markus Söder is opposed to the RKI recommendation for corona tests.

On Tuesday, the test strategy is the topic in the cabinet.

Söder speaks at a press conference.

Corona crisis in Bavaria: measures ineffective - but Söder continues to be popular

What is noticeable is that Söder has the

least approval

among the

voters of

his own party, the

CSU

.

72 percent of the CSU gave a positive assessment of Söders crisis management.

In

contrast, it was 77 percent of

the

Green voters

and

80 percent of

the supporters of the

Free voters

.

The complete evaluation of the representative survey can be seen on Tuesday evening (November 10th) at 5.30 p.m. on

Sat.1 Bayern

.

In a press statement before the

virtual party board meeting of the CSU

 ,

 Markus Söder

commented

on Monday (November 9th) on the current Corona situation: "There is

no all-clear

." The measures taken were therefore correct.

In addition, despite growing criticism, Söder would initially like to continue to adhere to the special test route for Bavarian citizens.
