Sat.1 Bayern
, more and more Bavarian
citizens
doubt
the effectiveness of the
currently valid
protective measures
prescribed
by the
government in
view of the increasing number of
corona infections
.
Three quarters of the people surveyed consider the previous measures to be little or no effective.
For the
representative study
, 1004 citizens were interviewed by telephone between November 4th and November 9th.

In addition, almost half of those surveyed (47 percent) do not believe that the
partial lockdown
ordered
by the end of
November will be
sufficient to get the situation under control again.
Therefore, a majority of three quarters of the people questioned would
accept
stricter controls in
order to be able to guarantee the implementation of the measures.
The survey also revealed in other respects how
divided
the mood among the population is with regard to the
second wave of the corona pandemic
.
On the one hand, a large majority doubts the
effectiveness of
the protective measures, but the approval of the
state government's
line is almost as high
: 72 percent are
fundamentally in agreement
with its
crisis management
and measures by
Prime Minister Söder
and his cabinet.

What is noticeable is that Söder has the
least approval
among the
voters of
his own party, the
CSU
.
72 percent of the CSU gave a positive assessment of Söders crisis management.
In
contrast, it was 77 percent of
the
Green voters
and
80 percent of
the supporters of the
Free voters
.

In a press statement before the
virtual party board meeting of the CSU
,
Markus Söder
commented
on Monday (November 9th) on the current Corona situation: "There is
no all-clear
." The measures taken were therefore correct.
In addition, despite growing criticism, Söder would initially like to continue to adhere to the special test route for Bavarian citizens.
