The Jerusalem Rabbinical Court recently allowed an famous figure in the field of entertainment to marry a second wife, after ruling that his wife refuses to give him a divorce.

The couple has been in conflict for a long time, a conflict that has also surfaced in various media outlets.

Both sides claim that justice is with them, and so the issue rolled to the court.

This is a relatively rare decision, in which a permit is obtained from one hundred rabbis so that the man can marry a second wife.

The man filed for remarriage and the court granted it.

It should be noted that although this is still a rare decision, it seems that the courts are more and more open to it, and another man has recently received a similar approval.

Due to the privacy of the individual, it is forbidden to reveal the identifying details of the famous character and his wife. His wife said in response to Israel Today's request that she was shocked by the verdict. "I am shocked and hurt along with my children by the decision of the rabbinical court that allows my husband to marry a second wife while he is married to me. What if it is not bigamy? How under the auspices of halakhah "Under the law, this is an unprecedented move."

The rabbinical courts refused to provide details of the exceptional approval, due to the privacy of the individual. The management of the rabbinical courts stated: "The management of the courts does not respond to reports that violate the privacy of the individual, whether the reports are true or not. The victim of the court's decisions may appeal before the Grand Rabbinical Court."
