The famous series "Narcos" returns to the Netflix screen 1:30

New characters added to the cast of the third season of Netflix's "Narcos."

Bad Bunny, whose full name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, who previously spoke about his role, will guest-star as a character named Arturo "Kitty" Paez.

According to a description provided by Netflix, the musician is a member of a gang called "Narco Juniors", a "rich and well-connected children of high society who joined the life of the cartel for money, drugs and violence."

The 26-year-old performer, best known for songs like "Dákiti" and his guest appearance, Ldo alongside Shakira and Jennifer Lopez during the Super Bowl LIV halftime show, had previously told Rolling Stone magazine that he started film just before the start of the pandemic.

Other additions to the cast include actors Luis Gerardo Méndez, Alberto Guerra and Luisa Rubino.

Mendez will play a police officer from Juárez, Mexico, who faces "a moral dilemma," according to the description.

Guerra will play a drug lord and Rubino a journalist who has a "mission to expose corruption and who brings her an even bigger story than she anticipated," the description read.

The new season of "Narcos" takes place in the 1990s and follows the emergence of new drug lords amid "political turmoil and escalating violence," according to Netflix.
