They find briefcases with uncounted ballots
On the other hand, the president of the State Elections Commission, Francisco Rosado, confirmed on Tuesday the discovery of hundreds of briefcases containing voting ballots that have not been counted.
The briefcases were found in a vault of the Roberto Clemente Coliseum, where the Administrative Board of Absent Voting and Early Voting (JAVA) was located.
These ballots will be counted in the scrutiny process.
Rosado acknowledged that there was a "disorganization of the handling of the material in the vaults" of JAVA and estimated that there could be thousands of ballots without counting.
Rosado acknowledged that there was "a bad inventory management."
So far, the State Elections Commission has not reported how this situation could affect the outcome of the November 3 elections.
