Texas is now the first US state to report 1 million COVID-19 cases, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

Texas is now the first US state to record 1 million coronavirus cases, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The Lone Star State has so far identified 1,010,364 cases of Covid-19 since the pandemic began.

At least 19,337 people have died there, according to the university.
