Famous for having taken into his lens everything the planet has known stars from the 1960s to 1970s, Terry O'Neill passed away on November 16, 2019, in London, at the age of 81, of the aftermath prostate cancer.
Just one year after his death, twenty-six of his legendary portraits of the world of fashion, music and cinema resurface at Sotheby's.
These range from an unreleased edition of a platinum print of Frank Sinatra walking in Miami in 1968 (37,300 pounds), to a portrait of Amy Winehouse taken at a concert in honor of Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday in Hyde Park, London, in 2008 (15,600 pounds).

His photos should have been shown at the London headquarters on New Bond Street but the exhibition was canceled due to the new lockdown.
