Radical deputy Mario Negri and the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massa, had a strong clash during the session this Wednesday while discussing the possibility of omitting next year's PASO.
The situation began when the deputy Luis Di Giácomo (Together We Are Río Negro)
requested a deviation of the regulations
to be able to debate the possibility of not holding the next Simultaneous and Compulsory Open Primaries (PASO).
"From our inter-block we understand that the premise that the PASO has was not fulfilled. Now we are in a crisis situation and
between 12 and 14 billion pesos
will be spent
in an election that ends up being in reality a large survey"
, Di Giácomo said.
Given this, the one who asked to speak was Mario Negri, who pointed directly against Sergio Massa: "We had agreed
that a deviation from the regulation could not be requested on any subject
. An agreement that you yourself proposed has just been broken and
that you must do so. comply
".
The president of the Chamber responded that he had notified other deputies before the session begins about the request that Di Giácomo was going to make.
But Negri interrupted him: "I asked you for a deviation from the regulations and you didn't let me. But Di Giácomo was granted it."
Massa hid himself:
"You are missing the truth.
Ask for the regulation section so you end your show, "he said ironically.
To which Negri, with a raised tone of voice and pointing a finger at him, said:
"You are not presiding over the Chamber properly,
that is what you do."
Angry, Massa once again ironized: "He has the possibility when the authorities' elections come to elect whoever he wants."
Negri closed the crossing: "Of course, yes, I'm going to do it."
