Despite the electoral map update that projects three Electoral College votes for Donald Trump to win Alaska, the US president remains second in the race, with 217 electoral votes compared to 279 for Joe Biden.
For now, the Senate is led by Republicans, with 50 seats, compared to 48 for Democrats.
The House of Representatives follows with 218 for the Democrats, up from 203 for the Republicans.
