Today, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection in the Russian Federation to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of work, employment and social care.
The memorandum includes the implementation of joint activities in the fields of social protection systems, rehabilitation and social integration of persons with disabilities, and professional and advanced training for specialists in the field of disability according to various training patterns, working conditions, occupational health and safety, social security systems, including securing industrial work injuries, occupational diseases, and other areas of cooperation.
In a statement to reporters after the signing of the memorandum, the Director of the Legal Department and International Cooperation at the Russian Ministry of Social Protection and Labor Vesliev Albuz pointed to the importance of the memorandum in developing cooperation relations in the field of social affairs and work, noting the fruitful discussions and discussions witnessed by the sessions of the international conference on the return of refugees, which contributed greatly to the exchange of experiences between The two sides, especially with regard to the issue of prosthetics and orthopedic compensation for people with disabilities and limited physical abilities, noting that the Russian side was aware of the difficulties and problems in this field.
For his part, Wael Al-Badin, Assistant Minister of Social Affairs and Labor considered that the memorandum constitutes the beginning of an important path of cooperation, exchange of experiences at the technical level, localization of experience and the benefit of advanced knowledge of the friendly Russian side in particular in the field of support, care and empowerment of persons with disabilities, including what is related to the service of parties The industrial sector in which multiple institutions will participate, indicating that the memorandum will enter into force upon completion of some procedures within a period not exceeding a month.
