2020-11-12T10:50:44.634Z

Containment can be an opportunity to discover the baskets delivered to your home or near your home. Here is our selection of special sites

Eating fruits and vegetables grown close to home is just a click away.

For those who have not yet tested this formula, which is positive for farmers as much as for consumers, this new period of containment may be a good opportunity to get started.

We have drawn up for you a (non-exhaustive) list of seven websites with very different offers, but all of them recommendable.

City vegetable garden, the most classic

This site offers seasonal fruits and vegetables, i.e. 320 varieties over the year, 72% produced in France.

The remaining 28% correspond to products little cultivated in France such as oranges from Sicily and avocados and mangoes from Andalusia.

While endives, pumpkins and clementines are currently the stars of most baskets, the selection changes depending on the region because Potager City is supplied as close as possible to its customers.

The prices.

Three weekly baskets are offered: the Super, i.e. 3 to 3.2 kilos of nuggets produced in small quantities (21.90 euros) like a precious Doyenné de Comice pear and the Classic with the best of the season, in a 4 to 5 kg format to feed 2 to 3 people for a week (16.90 euros), or in an 8 to 10 kg format to cook meals for 7 days for 4 to 6 people (30.50 euros).

By activating the subscription, you can access the shop which offers other types of baskets (smaller or larger) and complementary products, such as eggs or dried fruits.

Rhythm.

A weekly subscription that can be suspended at any time.

The producers.

Potager City works with 748 partner farmers in 7 regions of France.

The fruits and vegetables ordered come primarily from producers located near the place of delivery.

These are presented on the site in the “producers” section.

In a “zero waste” spirit, producers only harvest for Potager City what is already sold.

The delivery.

You collect your basket from a relay point or have it delivered to your company.

The little extras.

Delivery costs are included in the weekly rate and, each week, new recipes related to seasonal products are offered.
