The event comes about a month after the demonstrations about incitement against the ultra-Orthodox public in the city and in other parts of the country.

In November, thousands of Gur followers demonstrated in Arad in protest of the incitement against the ultra-Orthodox public.

This, following several arsons of Hasidim-owned stores in the city a week earlier.

The Hasidim demonstrated while maintaining a distance of two meters between people and wearing masks, and called for an end to the harm to the Hassidic community and to recognize the legitimacy of the ultra-Orthodox residents of the city.

"Gur followers have lived in the city for decades, and they are a model for coexistence and coexistence. For some reason, there is a small but vociferous minority who are unwilling to recognize the legitimacy of the existence of the city's ultra-Orthodox residents," said Bunim Nagel.
