Home office: let me out of here!

It is said that working at home makes it easier to combine work and family. But we are in a state of emergency.

Stress in the home office (symbol image)

Something is not right.

The day before yesterday I slammed room doors in anger just because I couldn't find my son's health insurance card.

Before that, in a video conference with the boss, I burst into tears in despair about the publisher's new editorial program.

I was unable to deliver an item on time.

None of the drama, but it still felt that way.

Anna Clauß

, 38, is the mother of a five-year-old son.

She works full-time and knows how to raise children to be happy despite being absent and constantly short of time.

Or at least successfully persuade it.

The best early warning system for unhealthy stress is my diary.

Especially the blank pages in it.

I usually write several times a day.

Usually just a few words.

About the unsuccessful onion tart recipe, the surprising call from an old friend or a walk in the woods to the bone pounding mill.

What a terrifying word.

I try to write down everything that stands out from everyday life.

Often it is also worries, anger or anger that I let loose with brief diary tirades.

But in the past few weeks I have hardly written any more.

I don't have the time.

The appearance of tears in the video chat?

Best material for a page-long diary entry.
