(CNN) ––

A law firm representing President Donald Trump's campaign in a controversial and risky attempt to block Pennsylvania's popular vote for Joe Biden dropped the case.

The firm, Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, had two attorneys in Pittsburgh who were leading the Trump campaign effort in Pennsylvania.

Both told a judge in documents filed overnight that they were leaving.

And they added that the Trump campaign could present new lawyers for the process.

Biden leads the state by nearly 60,000 votes, and CNN has projected that he will win all 20 Pennsylvania electoral votes.
