Rock or classical: follow the tribute concerts to the victims of the November 13 attacks

The Paris Chamber Orchestra and the American rock group Queens of the Stone Age are mobilizing today for the fifth anniversary of the attacks.


Target of obscurantism, music and musicians pay tribute to the victims of the attacks which struck Paris and the Batacalan on November 13, 2015. The project around the Paris Chamber Orchestra was born from the solicitation of the parents of one of the victims of the Bataclan.

A unique concert and call for donation

Queens of the Stone Age, for its part, would like to encourage its fans - and others - to make a donation to two charities: The Nick Alexander Memorial Trust (in tribute to a victim who worked with the group Eagles of Death Metal), which provides musical equipment for disadvantaged communities in the United Kingdom, and Life for Paris, which helps victims of attacks and their families in an attempt to rebuild themselves.

The group will broadcast a previously unseen acoustic concert on their YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on Friday, recorded in Tasmania during their last world tour in 2018.

Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme is a close friend of the Eagles of Death Metal, the band that performed at the Bataclan on November 13, 2015.
