: Donald Trump spoke on Friday for the first time of the possibility of a defeat in the American presidential election against Joe Biden.
The outgoing president was speaking from the gardens of the White House on the Covid-19 pandemic, his first public speech since the announcement of his defeat, which he fiercely refuses to recognize.
While the number of cases of contamination with the new coronavirus has sharply increased in the country, Donald Trump wanted to rule out the possibility of confinement.

"I think time will tell which administration we will have, but whatever happens in the future, who knows, I can tell you that this administration will not impose lockdown,"
he said, much less categorical than in his tweets denouncing at will a
“rigged”
election

The Republican did not mention the presidential election any further during his speech, concluded without answering journalists' questions, an exercise to which he nevertheless performed very regularly during his mandate.
The last two states in which the results of the November 3 election had not yet been announced, Georgia and North Carolina, were respectively attributed to Joe Biden and Donald Trump on Friday by the American mainstream media.
