Historical, legendary.
Argentina has achieved the feat of bringing down New Zealand, at home, this Saturday morning in Sydney, as part of the 3rd day of the Championship.
The Pumas' very first victory in history against the All Blacks.
The Argentines won 25-15 against New Zealanders who were unable to score more than two tries, including a late one, only one more than their opponents of the day who made the difference with 6 penalties successful, against only one for the Kiwis.
It was their opening half, Nicolas Sanchez, who scored all his team's points and helped tame the All Blacks.
Two consecutive defeats
Nothing is going well for the men in black already beaten last Saturday in Australia (22-24) and which thus chain a second defeat for the first time since 2011. And day of glory for the Argentines, small thumbs of the Championship.
"It's a great match for Argentine rugby today," said captain Pablo Matera, drunk with happiness.
There are a lot of guys who put on this jersey before us and it got us here.
We're used to (adversity), it's always hard for Argentina.
We just wanted to show our employees that if you work hard, you get your rewards.
