CA Brive was dominated in the last moments by Racing 92 (19-23), Saturday at Amédée-Domenech, on the occasion of the 9th day of the Top 14. The Corréziens quickly scored a try by Thompson-Stringer (2nd) and relied on the success at the foot of Laranjeira (four penalties, one conversion).
The Ile-de-France residents also scored through Toafifenua (42nd) and they raced for a long time behind the “Coujous” who led 16-3 at the break.
But Sanconnie, former player of Brive, offered in force the test of victory to Racing in the last moments (80th).
Brive sinks a little deeper and concedes a fifth straight loss, with a hearty program of three trips in a week to come.
