China has successfully launched a new mobile communications satellite.
Xinhua said today that the satellite, which was developed by the Chinese Academy of Space Technology, will establish a mobile network with ground facilities to provide communication services in all weather conditions and times.
It is reported that the satellite consists of a space sector, a land sector, and a user terminal.
