Today, various Lebanese regions witnessed a general closure, with the exception of some sectors and facilities to limit the spread of Corona, in compliance with the decision of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Health to close for 15 days.
The Lebanese National Media Agency reported that institutions have stopped working in Koura, North Lebanon, while bakeries, pharmacies, and shops selling food and vegetables have opened their doors to citizens, and municipal police have conducted their patrols to monitor traffic, and security personnel have set up fixed and mobile barriers to control violations and issue arrest records against violators.
It is noteworthy that the percentage of commitment on the first day of implementing the decision was relatively encouraging, and next Monday will be the real test for the seriousness of implementing the decision and the extent of the people's commitment to it until it ends on the 30th of this month.
It is noteworthy that the number of injuries in the country has reached nearly two thousand daily, with the exception of deaths that are steadily increasing.
