Morocco recorded 5,875 new infections with the new Corona virus, compared to 5,515 yesterday, bringing the total number of cases to 288,211 cases since the first case appeared in the country on the second of last March.
The Moroccan Ministry of Health said that 66 people have died, compared to 61 yesterday, bringing the total deaths to 4,697 deaths.
In Algeria, the health authorities recorded 844 new cases of coronavirus and 14 deaths during the past 24 hours.
Algeria News Agency quoted the spokesperson of the Coronavirus Monitoring and Follow-up Committee, Dr. Jamal Forar, as saying today that the total number of confirmed cases reached 66,819, of which 844 are new cases, and the total number of deaths reached 2,139 cases, including 14 new cases.
