A train collided with a truck at the level crossing in the Fischbachau district of Hammer.
The accident leads to major traffic obstructions.
The train hits the truck in the middle - wedged together, they finally come to a stop.
Due to the accident, some roads will remain closed until at least next week.
The train driver was slightly injured, and the truck driver is in shock after the accident.

According to Marinus Gasteiger, commander of the Fischbachau fire brigade, the truck coming from Fischbachau had tried to drive over the open crossing before the train moving in the direction of Bayrischzell.
That failed.

hit the
truck
in the middle, turned it and dragged it around 20 meters across the tracks before both of them
stopped
wedged
together.
Those involved survived the accident with no problems.
The
truck driver
, a 31-year-old Freinger, suffered a
shock
, according to the police
.
The 15 passengers on the train were uninjured, the
driver
was
slightly injured
.
The
recovery of the truck
turned out to be
difficult
.
First the
fire brigade
had to separate it from the train.
After she had pulled the train back and isolated the truck, it threatened to tip over while standing on the slope.
The careful recovery lasted until the early evening.

Accident in Fischbachau: train collides with truck - one injured
According to initial information from the scene of the accident, the truck driver survived the collision unharmed.
Apparently the train hit the truck well behind the cab.
The

.
