The Syrian Foundation for Trade inaugurated today an exhibition of carpets and heaters in the Apamea complex in Lattakia, in conjunction with the launch of soft loans without interest for state workers, valued at 200,000 Syrian pounds.
In a statement to SANA's correspondent during the inauguration of the exhibition, a number of citizens emphasized its importance in terms of the difference in price with the markets, as Samih Rajab, who visits the exhibition with his wife, teacher Ahlam, saw that the prices in the exhibition are good compared to the market and that he attended to take advantage of the installment offer provided by the Foundation to the workers in the state.
The employee in the Tishreen department, Aktham Ibrahim, considered the loan to be another positive gesture at a time when he hoped that it would have a ceiling higher than 200,000 Syrian pounds.
In turn, the Director General of the Foundation Ahmed Najman stated that the exhibition provides a wide variety of carpets at a price of 11,300 Syrian pounds per square meter, to be less than the market by more than 20 percent.
He pointed out that the exhibition will be followed by the opening of similar exhibitions in various governorates, with more than one hall to reach all citizens.
In turn, the branch manager, Shady Dalla, confirmed that the exhibition currently includes a variety of carpets and rugs, amounting to more than 8 thousand square meters, while working on supplying a number of halls within the city and the countryside with a variety and facilitating loan procedures, indicating that the exhibition represents a kind of positive intervention in the market.
