Summary :
They had been together for ten years, had just bought a house and wanted to start a family.
For their loved ones, Alexia and Jonathann Daval made a happy couple.
Until this Saturday, October 28, 2017 when the husband, "ideal son-in-law" according to his in-laws, reports the disappearance of Alexia.
His wife, he says, has not come back from her morning jog.
His half-charred body was found two days later in a wood a few kilometers from their home in Gray-la-Ville (Haute-Saône).
The starting point of a high-profile case, where the grieving husband has become over the weeks the number 1 suspect. In police custody, the latter ends up admitting the murder during a marital dispute.
For a while, he accuses Alexia's parents and brother-in-law of complicity.
On November 16, 2020, on the first day of his trial before the Vesoul Assize Court (Haute-Saône), Jonathann Daval said he was "the only one involved" in the death of his wife.
