In the midst of negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) over the debt, President Alberto Fernández accused the multilateral body of "violating the statute to finance
financial speculation and capital outflows
" and assured that "this time, the adjustment the humblest will not pay for it. "

announced investments for 187 million dollars to increase sales abroad, hours after the block of senators from the Frente de Todos published a harsh letter against the IMF.

As reported by the Presidency, the Frigorífico Rioplatense will allocate 30 million dollars, in different stages until 2022, for expansion works with the
aim of fivefold the production capacity of frozen beef per day
and almost double the amount of exports.
Other companies that are members of the Consortium will contribute the rest of the announced investment amount.
