Daraa-Sana
The Tourism Directorate in Daraa has begun rehabilitating the Tourist Information Center at the Nassib Border Center.
Director of Daraa Tourism, Yasser Al-Saadi, stated that the center provides its services to tourists from outside Syria, and that the center provides services for rehabilitation work of 50 million Syrian pounds.
He added that this year the directorate granted a tourist tribute license to a restaurant and swimming pool in the city of Al-Sanamayn, with an investment value of 500 million Syrian pounds, and work is now underway to grant five new tourism tribute licenses that include various activities in hotels, restaurants, motels, tourism training centers and swimming pools.
The Director of Tourism indicated that this year witnessed the return of 30 tourism and travel agencies to work, and 10 new projects were licensed for tourism agencies and tourism establishments, bringing the total number of agencies and institutions in Daraa to 72 agencies and institutions.
The Director of Tourism stated that Daraa governorate has 16 catering and overnight facilities, six of which have returned to service this year, and the White Rose Hotel is also being rehabilitated to return to receiving its visitors.
