The Consumer Council collected a total of 35 samples of pre-packaged dried pasta from supermarkets, department stores and other places from April to May 2020, including 9 types of screw noodles, 15 types of macaroni and 11 types of striped pasta for testing .

Glyphosate is one of the most widely used pesticides, mainly used to kill weeds.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer classifies glyphosate as “possibly carcinogenic to humans” (Group 2A), while the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization/World Health Organization Pesticide Residues Joint Conference believes that dietary intake of glyphosate will not be Consumers pose a risk of cancer.

The brand company of "Nissin Foods Nissin" stated that this product is specially added with wheat bran and has sent 18 packets of the same batch of products to the US laboratory for testing.
