Al-Hasakah Education Directorate finished the process of distributing the first batch of school bags to first and second grades of basic education in the schools of al-Hasakah city, provided by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). One thousand male and female students in the schools of al-Hasakah city, and the distributed bags include complete stationery, including notebooks, pens, coloring boxes and others, noting that the directorate will start distributions for schools in Qamishli and its southern countryside early next week, and 12,000 school bags have been allocated to these schools.
Sourkhan pointed to the importance of distributing school bags to first and second grade students of the basic education stage, as it greatly reduced the financial burden on families in the governorate regions, especially that there is an increase in the prices of school supplies.
