After reading the letter that the Senate bloc of the Frente de Todos published against the IMF, with harsh criticism of the previous administration, former President Mauricio Macri took advantage of a virtual meeting of the leadership of Together for Change to respond and asked "not to leave pass the story of Kirchnerism ".
"
We cannot let go of the story they are trying to install
. There are many people who believe that we did that (negotiate with the IMF) to escape capital. In the long run it beats us all," the former president warned during the meeting, in which there was leaders of PRO, the UCR and the Civic Coalition-ARI.
According to
La Nación
, María Eugenia Vidal agreed with Macri and suggested that the JxC senators be in charge of defending the negotiations that the Macri government entered into with the international organization, in April 2018.
On Sunday, the Senate bloc of the Frente de Todos published a harsh letter against the IMF, days after the meeting that the organization's mission had with the Minister of Economy, Martín Guzmán;
the head of the Central Bank, Miguel Ángel Pesce, and the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massa.

The letter, which was signed by all the members of the bench except José Alperovich (on leave for a harassment complaint) and Carlos Menem (away from the day for his health), was addressed to the managing director of the organization, Kristalina Georgieva.
As reported, it was handed over to its representatives on Saturday and seeks to "make some clarifications and formulate some proposals."
The text maintains that the international credit organization
"irresponsibly"
granted
funds to Argentina during the Stand By 2018 agreement and therefore requested that the "calculations that made the IMF technicians, officials and managers think that our country could obtain Sufficient external surpluses to meet maturities ".
But they also denounced behind the disbursement of the agency to the Macri government
"considerations of a political nature and not technical or institutional aspects
.
"
Although there are coinciding criticisms within the ruling party, the moment is sensitive: it occurs while the mission negotiates with Guzmán and after Massa also sought to give friendly signals to the body.
Not only in words, but also in deeds, such as the approval of the budget, which just had a brake in the Senate and must be voted on again in Deputies.
