Netanyahu: I talked to Putin about the possibility of purchasing the Russian vaccine for Corona
The Prime Minister issued a statement in the background approving further easing of the Corona restrictions.
He referred to the purchase of vaccines, and clarified that his aim is to bring in as many vaccines as possible from as many sources as possible.
"All this will not happen from today to tomorrow, but it is not a matter of years but of months," Netanyahu clarified

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold a press conference tonight (Monday) against the background of the Corona Cabinet's decision on further easing of the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of the Corona virus.
He addressed the issue of vaccines in his opening remarks, and promised that Israel would be one of the first countries to receive the vaccine from a modern company.
He added that his goal was to bring in as many vaccines as possible from as many sources as possible, and that he had talked with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the possibility of purchasing the Russian vaccine for Corona.
The prime minister added that "light is seen at the end of the tunnel", but stressed that "complacency must not be allowed in until the vaccines arrive".
He said, "All of this will not happen overnight, but it is not a matter of years but of months. Along with the cooperation, we will continue to make the considered and responsible decisions that put us in a good position in relation to the countries of the world."
He clarified that "we have reduced the morbidity in Israel to one of the lowest in the Western world."
The Corona Cabinet approved the resumption of studies in grades 5-6 and grades 11-12 in localities defined as green or yellow.
Classes in grades 5-6 will resume starting next Tuesday, and in grades 11-12, classes will resume starting Tuesday in two weeks.
In localities defined as orange or red, studies will not be resumed.
