Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold a press conference tonight (Monday) against the background of the Corona Cabinet's decision on further easing of the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of the Corona virus.

He addressed the issue of vaccines in his opening remarks, and promised that Israel would be one of the first countries to receive the vaccine from a modern company.

He said, "All of this will not happen overnight, but it is not a matter of years but of months. Along with the cooperation, we will continue to make the considered and responsible decisions that put us in a good position in relation to the countries of the world."

He clarified that "we have reduced the morbidity in Israel to one of the lowest in the Western world."

Classes in grades 5-6 will resume starting next Tuesday, and in grades 11-12, classes will resume starting Tuesday in two weeks.
