Our courageous armed forces of all kinds celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of the glorious corrective movement led by the founding leader Hafez al-Assad on the sixteenth of November in the year of seventy nine thousand, and it constituted a decisive turning point and a significant strategic turning point in our contemporary history with the profound radical transformations it brought about in all aspects of life.
Where a high-ranking military delegation of officers of the General Command of the Army and the Armed Forces visited the tomb of the founding leader Hafez al-Assad in the city of Qardaha in Latakia governorate and placed wreaths of flowers on the shrine and read Al-Fatiha.
Our naval forces, in their various formations, held a central ceremony at the Naval College, and some warships were displayed with the participation of the Syrian Arab Air Force.
Celebrations were held in the military units and formations on this occasion, where the leaders emphasized in their words the importance of this event, which was not instantaneous, but rather a continuous act in the face of the challenges and circumstances that Syria is going through and the crises it is facing to this day, especially the fierce war and unprecedented aggression that targets its Arab identity and civilizational message. And its proud people, who resisted challenges with competence and competence to prove that they have the greatest right to exist on this earth.
In their speeches, the leaders touched on the most important achievements of the corrective movement and the progress and prosperity achieved under it, and reviewed the achievements that the men of the Syrian Arab Army achieve every day in the face of terrorist organizations wherever they are, indicating that these victories dropped the illusions of terrorists and their masters and thwarted their plans and projects.
At the end of their speeches, the leaders pledged to the Syrian Arab people to continue achieving achievements behind the wise and courageous leadership of President Lt. Gen. Bashar Al-Assad.
On this occasion, military and sports performances and some technical events were held in various military units and formations.
