Good news for all dirt park fans: The Hohenkammer community has now approved the application from four young people and is planning a circuit.

- Four young people from the Hohenkammer community have dared to go to the town hall and speak to the mayor.
The quartet first visited the second mayor Alexander Stampfl and now also the newly elected mayor Mario Berti with the application to realize a dirt park in Hohenkammer.
The initiative was successful, because a suitable plot of land was presented to the municipal council at an on-site meeting and planning started immediately with a resolution.
Money is provided for this in the household.
During the interview at the town hall, the four young people emphasized that in a number of neighboring communities, for example in Mauern or Fahrenzhausen, such leisure areas would be well received or were being prepared.
In addition, they showed with a small sketch what a circuit for mountain bikes could look like.
The municipal councils were presented with a plot of land on Pfarrer-Egger-Straße between the sports grounds and the state road, where the area is already delimited by a dense population of trees.
For the dirt park, 50,000 euros should be budgeted
Mayor Mario Berti made it clear that he would like to make the meeting point possible for the young people, but the future users should also be involved in the planning and then the implementation.
"It is very respectable when young people draw a plan and come to the town hall with it," said Berti.
He therefore suggested having the planned property checked by a planning office and adding 50,000 euros to the budget for implementation in the coming year.
That was ultimately decided unanimously.
In the previous discussion, there were also voices that the sum was perhaps a little too high.
Managing director Marco Unruh said that you are on the safe side in the household with such an amount that does not have to be fully used.
